Now I also know how mechanically sound they are too. It's hard to accept, but it's something we must all eventually learn.As much as this book tried to claim it is simply a resource for people who are interested in it, the sticker on the front that says "someone you love needs this book!" disagrees, along with anyone who was ever handed this by a panicked loved one. Manners, Dear Abby, Martha Stewart and the like. Section 3 talks about remedies and therapies, such as Qi Gong, Steam Inhalation, Sitz Bath, Magnet Therapy, Chinese Medicine, Aromatherapy, and so many others.I'm not even remotely kidding when I tell you that if you have any interest at all in your health, you should get this book. Kelly Wearstler is not only lovely and stylish, but very talented. Harvest of Grief, by Annette Atkins chronicles the grasshopper plagues of the 1870s and discusses the hardships faced by the farmers of that decade and the failure of the government to supply them with public assistance.I found out about this book doing a search on the Internet after reading "On The Banks of Plum Creek" by Laura Ingalls Wilder to my son. In her view, ALL lesbians are baby-worshiping, butch/femme obsessed drones who don't have fun or pay any attention to fashion (oh, except for those stupid femmes who are supposedly all just dying to daShe examines local, state, and national relief efforts, which she reviews in the context of nineteenth-century social welfare philosophy.. Atkins eloquently portrays the extreme hardships of Minnesota farmers during the grasshopper plagues of the 1870s
