Long regarded as a collector's item by Civil War buffs, the reappearance of this book in a paperback edition will be welcomed by many.. The most infamous of their number was Champ Ferguson. This amazing story of bloody guerilla warfare along the Kentucky-Tennessee border presents a tale and a protagonist unique in the annals of the Civil War.When the Civil War began in 1861, the men of the Cumberland Mountain districts chose sides and pursued a private war with each other. In this classic study, Thurman Sensing provides the only available book-length account of Ferguson's brutal deeds, his capture, his trial, his execution at the end of the war, and the legendary ruse by which he allegedly escaped hangingI like this "Walking…" series very much, particularly the original Brooklyn book. Rather than giving up, she went back to school and got her PhD in Anthropology, writing her Doctoral Dissertation on this cave art. There are also chapters on stress reduction and exercise, stopping a heart attack with your hands, recommended reading and references. The opinions expressed are thoughtful and worth the read.. The diagrams help the text and the text explain well what, in the end, are difficult concepts for the average business manager, even a technical one in charge of IT projects, to understand.At the same time, the inclusion of the non-technological, but organizational related issues such as Certificate Practice Statements, evaluting vendor proposals, PKI audits, and others, rounds out the PKI "big picture". I think the author wrote very deep words and had a very positive idea about what she was going to write. It is this reason why I would categorize this book is really nothing more than a "preaching to the choir" book.The heart of the book is a 28 page chapter named "Powerdown" which provides some suggestions, but is mostly fluff.
