Many students emerge from their first year of Latin study with weak grammar skills. Review Latin Grammar provides a copious amount of drill material, including 700 short English-to-Latin sentence exercises, as well as a group of passages in connected English prose.There are many subtle messages in the book about family, immigrant life, enjoying life etc.and the author also uses very interesting language. However, I felt her opinion was a bit too much, since she thought the book was exceptional. The normal dental experience in this world is "well, he didn't hurt me too much." I want people to rave about their dental visits, not just tell the usual "horror stories"! This book has been used in my office as a reading assignment and the subject of staff meetings, in an attempt to comunicate to my staff and have them deliver service that exceeds the patient's expectations. The mysterious World Seed is trapped underneath the Chicago Board of Exchange, and is slowly pressing the boundaries of the cage it is trapped in. But there's humor as well; the immortality-hungry Monkey provides most of it, but there is also the putrid demon kappa being defeated with good manners, or the elaborate funeral held for a woman who had only fainted. In fact, I've gone through a tough period myself in the last couple of years. Lots of weird black splotches and no graphics (all just black). The authors were impressive (but biased) and the theology and writing creative. As Zipporah's father leads them through a crowded alley, they finally reach their destination - a rickety, ramshackle apartment that has to be shared with the whole family, and an elderly man.
