The articles explore both effective assessment techniques as well as strategies. Krick does a good job in explaining what happened, the consequences, and how the loss could have been averted. A gruff but open man, Higbe admits his regret at never having gotten an education. While I already knew the basic information, some of the historical and much of the traditional information was new and educational for me. In the absence of an explanation for consciousness, materialism must insert a miracle to account for mind emerging from wholly mindless matter.
