Even though that book is a quick read, it is really well organized and contains in depth information to the limits of the book size. The style for each piece is displayed at the beginning of each exercise (Allegretto, adagio and so on). In this 2008 book he clearly makes his point in the six page preface and the first three chapters that take up 61 of the 196 total pages of primary text. Overall the best book I've read on this subject, packed with information, very clear and concise language. He didn't go with Hale.*Page 19-The estimated loss in regard to the fire in New York City on 20 September 1776 was 575,000 pounds sterling.*Page 20-It was Hale's drawings and other papers that were found on him that sealed his fate. I know of several individuals whom weren't happy with Byrne's run on Superman, but when considering that most of those naysayers are heavy fans of Pre-Crisis DC, most notably the Golden Age, I think it's safe to say that they can be ignored for the most part, due to the fact they usually scoff at the slightest amount of change. I read The Truce at Bakura and will never open it again. This book is an easy read
